  14. I am writing a little util. to search the Aminet indexes that are on the
  15. Aminet disks.  The util will allow you to search for up to 3 different
  16. patterns with 2 logical param's (and, or's).  Example:

  18. amifind gif|jpg&view or amifind "gif | jpg & view" same to the util.
  19.  
  20. this would search for either gif or jpg in the index file and it would
  21. also need to have  view  in the description line also.  Any combo of
  22. the & and |'s can be made.  The util looks in to an assigned dir for the
  23. Aminet disk indexs and any matches are outputed in Amiguide format so
  24. that you can click on the description or file name and the proper action
  25. will be take on the object that was clicked.

  27. I need some one to test it out and make suggestion on new features and
  28. any bugs that I might have.  This is the cli version only right now
  29. until I think it is 95% done and then I will add a GUI interface to it.

  31. Requirements are the Amifind util  (of course) from me
  32.     all the aminet disk indexs from 1 on.  from the disks.  I don't know
  33.     legal's about sending the index files, but I doubt there would be a
  34.     problem with it.  All the indexs lha'ed are about 700 - 800k

  36. It requires no skips in the index disk numbers at this point but will
  37. be changed soon.  So aminet 1 - 5, 8,9,10 it will only see 1 - 5.
